Tim is the senior founding partner of Tim Harries & Partners, which he launched in 2010 to provide clients with a powerful combination of first class professional advice and a trusted personal service, drawing on his depth of experience, market knowledge and connections.

Tim commenced his professional career in 1985 in general practice with an East Midlands-based firm of commercial chartered surveyors and auctioneers, with whom he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. By 1993 he had risen to the position of equity partner.

In 1995, the firm was sold to DTZ,  now Cushman and Wakefield, a major private-equity owned global property consultancy, and during his 15 years with DTZ, Tim held a series of senior directorial positions, including head of office and member of the regional management board across central England and Wales. He rapidly built a national reputation amongst peers and clients for exceptional service.

Tim has amassed a depth of experience advising a wide range of UK and overseas clients including private equity and pension funds, property companies, institutions, trusts, charities, corporate and public sector organisations and wealthy private individuals on their property holdings. His particular areas of expertise include asset management,  lease consultancy and landlord and tenant advice including conducting rent reviews, lease renewals and re-gears: expert witness and due diligence; investment consultancy, sales and acquisitions; the origination and implementation of schemes for redevelopment, refurbishment and change of use; leasing and income generation initiatives.

These skills are backed-up by 35 years’ experience across the major central UK markets in all property sectors, and a personal commitment as trusted adviser.
